Ursa Maior is an intimate reading of the work Macunaíma, by Mário de Andrade, written in Araraquara, in 1926.

This solo is the practical result of the Master's research carried out by Gilsamara Moura, in the Postgraduate Studies Program in Communication and Semiotics at PUC / SP, under the guidance of Profa. Dr. Helena Katz.

The show addresses the issue of anthrophagy and its direct influences on the body that interprets, digests and metabolizes information.

It is worth mentioning that Ursa Maior was presented in Germany, integrating the program of the event Brasilien in Nurberg 2002 / Brasil Adentro - Landeinwarts, participated in the international SESC Dance Show, Dance on the Agenda of the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center, Rumos Dança do Itaú Cultural and participates of Circuit 1, 2, 3 sponsored by PETROBRAS.
