In a cultural proposal that combines practice and theory, the workshop offers the opportunity
to experience dances from the epistemological, non-geographic South, from the encounter
between people and their knowledge, in a mix of party and activism. ARTivism.
PARTY. Participants are encouraged to dance with a focus on finding their
corporality and associate taste with knowledge. The class emphasizes perception and action together,
movement phrases and free improvisation possibilities. Inspired by Boaventura
de Souza Santos, choreographer Gilsamara Moura proposes artisanal paths so that
this meeting is memorable. The workshop is for people with or without experience, but
above all with the desire to find meaning for his dance.
