ABOUT THE EVENT

UFBA holds a Virtual Congress for the first time, during the period of suspension of activities due to the pandemic of the new Coronavirus. The event is a space for dialogue between the most diverse knowledge produced at the university, giving visibility to its production and, at the same time, providing a context for debate on scenarios and challenges of that moment.

The day starts with great names of Dance, women, doctors and Brazilians in the fight against Pandemic. An opportune moment to think together, about the elements that emerge during the period of isolation and death.

The ÁGORA Research Group : ways of being in Dance presents the following proposition at this table: The combination of the pandemic and the political situation in Brazil creates another way of life, still in need of naming. Death became a number, in a daily life infested with lives, opening up the disappearance of the tension between death and life. If the body always changes with the environment, and vice versa, what dance should be danced now?
