The Gestus Group, from Araraquara, completed, in 2005, 15 years of uninterrupted work in dance and contemporary theater.

To commemorate this trajectory, the group has been working since August 2005 with performance processes that investigate the contamination of languages such as dance, theater, video and music, triggering a research on performance and body art (living art), route until then unprecedented in the Araraquara region among dance or theater groups.

Performance is a collaborative form, which occurs through the fusion and agency of different artistic languages (music, theater, dance, architecture, fashion, politics ...). In the performance there is something that is foreseen by the artist or interpreters, but the borrowed meanings are possibilities raised by the unexpected. Ephemeral activity, by definition, demands a multiple perception mode.
