Severina Hawaiian Paraiba or the saga of immense love of the Bahian mason in the big city is a performance show of 'cordel dance'.

Its theme is the love of two Brazilian workers: a laundress and a bricklayer who spend the day beside their cell radio, chanting wails and telling their stories.

The idea of the choreography is to take advantage of elements from string literature, bringing concepts of popular culture to the dance, such as the sound of popular music of the 70s.

The group of dancers, formed by Aline Cintra and Tadeu Queiroz, uses elements of dance-theater, in which improvisation stands out.

In this montage, the contemporary techniques proposed by Cunnigham and Laban coexist with some elements of popular dance.

The play's script and text are based on a study of contemporary authors of string literature and theorists like Câmara Cascudo.
