Zeitgeist, whose choreographic research coincided with the celebrations around Goethe during 1999, aims to recover one of the most important works of the German writer, within the universal literature: Faust. The character, which has become a myth, remains alive today, being mentioned in music, poetry, plastic arts and many other artistic languages.

In order to understand humanity, Goethe gave Faust the power to remind us that every man, despite his ambiguous nature, must choose, exercise his freedom between good and evil.

Faced with such a proposal, the choreographic process of this show brings up issues such as systemic crisis, transformation, manipulation and deterioration, thus legitimizing the ambiguities experienced by the human being.
